Courtney is a trained actor and grateful member of Actors Equity Association. She has experience in voice over, narration and musical theater. You can find Courtney on Audible, Instagram or on Wordini’s Word of the Day- a vocabulary podcast for the youngest of us.

Courtney can be described as… complex :) Introverted but sometimes extroverted. Quirky and fun with equal parts contemplative and serious. With a voice and sense of humor that hasn’t seemed to grow up, playing the kid or the sidekick tend to be her jam.

On stage, Courtney has been able to play roles like Peter Pan, Junie B Jones and evil stepsisters. In the booth, she has voiced characters like a fire hydrant named Squirt, a loveable kiddo with an affinity for vocabulary and has brought TIME for Kids Magazine to the ears of many school aged children. Her bright and spunky voice lends itself perfectly to middle grade characters.

Courtney grew up in New England- Rhode Island- more specifically- in a *My Cousin Vinny* style Italian American family. She eventually made her way (whilst shouting along with Frank Sinatra) to New York, New York. Although she currently resides back in the Ocean State, a giant chunk of her heart will stay in the Big Apple forever.

Alongside narration, Courtney is a  birth doula and placenta encapsulator and feels passionate about advocating for birth justice, holistic and evidence based sex and childbirth education. She is a mother of three who homeschools and she spends a lot of her time learning from and growing and guiding these fascinating creatures. She is passionate about respectful parenting and childhood development. Her work as a doula, mother and wife have given her the depth, understanding and empathy needed to add honesty and believability to younger and older characters alike, as well as the right amount of absurdity to voice more outrageous characters. Having experienced terrific loss in her own life, she has a special spot in her heart for grief and the grieving. She advocates for proper treatment and prevention of chronic illness, especially Lyme Disease.

She loves karaoke- showtunes style, nostalgic movies (and has a knack for referencing them daily),  competition and solving puzzles, travel, the beach and sun bathing, yoga, nutrition, herbal remedies and exploring the many facets of God, including the deconstruction and reconstruction of faith. She loves her husband, practical jokes (often together) , blasting 90s music over dinner prep,  I love Lucy and Adam Sandler. And last but not in the least, she will indulge in a good rotisserie chicken with a margarita (sugar on the rim!) any time of the day or night..
